Was probably the closest one I have ever seen and the first one I have seen come directly straight down. It was very big, white, bright, and roundish as it came down behind the trees where I could no longer see.

Slight whirring rumbly sound, just what you’d expect to hear from something burning through the atmosphere. It was very quiet however. Probably louder if it was closer.
