PoznámkyI majored in physics in undergrad, and my boyfriend minored in it. I took two semesters of astrophysics. Not sure if that makes us seem a bit more legitimate in what we saw?

PoznámkyVisual was very bright, white orb/dot with a light blueish tail that turned darker towards its end. The object fell fast, but was a sizable dot in sky as it did so. My best size comparison would be to compare it to the moon on the nights where it is further away, except this object was clearly not the size of the moon and rather just much closer. The tail followed behind and was somewhat short. Unfortunately, the object caught my boyfriend and me off-guard, so we didn’t even think to take a picture. I stared at it somewhat confused out my side window, and it appeared to be falling fast for its size. We questioned if it could be a firework, but we agreed it was too big and falling in the wrong direction. If it had been a firework, it would’ve been much louder and, but we didn’t hear a whistle. It also was extremely large and falling oddly for any regular object. I wasn’t sure what it could be, so I looked up a few things. Fireball was the closest picture I got. Not 100% sure that’s it, but it fits the description best.
